Frequently Asked Questions
Are your calculators validated for clinical use?
▾
All Radcalcs tools implement the original validated equations from published peer-reviewed sources and established guidelines (KDIGO, ACR, AHA, ESC, etc.). We verify accuracy against published worked examples. That said, all calculators are educational tools — results must be interpreted by a qualified clinician in the full clinical context.
How do you handle patient data privacy?
▾
All calculations run entirely in your browser. Patient values you enter are never transmitted to our servers. We do not collect, store, or process any patient data. See our
Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I suggest a new calculator?
▾
Absolutely. Use the form above and select "Feature Request." We prioritize calculators that are widely used in radiology and internal medicine workflows. Include the guideline or source you'd like us to implement.
I found a calculation error. What should I do?
▾
Please report it immediately using the "Report Error" button above or the contact form with subject "Calculator Correction." Include the calculator name, the values you entered, the result you got, and what you expected. We take accuracy very seriously and review all correction requests promptly.
Are the calculators free to use?
▾
Yes. All Radcalcs tools are completely free to use with no registration required. The site is supported by non-intrusive advertising. There are no premium tiers, paywalls, or usage limits.
